We are very proud that we are surrounded and supported by so many great people and companies. Thanks to them, we can go further, explore more and share the passion. They believe in us, value our opinion and help us achieve our goals. Please meet our Supporters.

The question about tyres (and oil) is probably the most commonly asked in the bikers’ community. For us the answer was always quite simple: black and round would do. But we tested a lot of them and there as actually no one-fits-all answer to this question. It all depends on what you need, what bike you have and how do you use it. We gave a try to Motoz tyres on our “heavy” bikes: BMW 1200GSA and BMW F800GS and we found them perfect for our needs. Since then we used those tyres on every bike we were riding. And we are proud and happy that Motoz decided to partner in our small ADV Hoppers project!

What can be done if the bike does not have heated grips and the obvious aftermarket solutions are not exactly answering the needs? After some research we found Coolride and their simple, yet unique approach to keep your hands warm. And as Agata switches on the grip heating when the temperature falls below 20 degrees Celsius, this is really an important item on our bikes’ setup. A short review of the Coolride Grip Heating System can be found in our “Gear” section.

When you want to use hard panniers on your bike, you can go for big brands and high prices or choose a great product from a small company for a fraction of the price. Apduro panniers are of top quality, and Joris tested them to the max. They are crash-proof, you can pack a lot in them (they come in different sizes) and they fit all the standard racks available on the market.

Joris has been using Wolfman Luggage bags even before he met Agata. Agata was secretly dreaming about the Wolfman Enduro TankBag back in 2014, when she bought her BMW G650X Challenge for the Western Africa trip in 2015, but not ended up with having one at that time…
Wolfman Luggage accessories are now accompanying ADV Hoppers on every trip, regardless of the destination and bike used. If you are looking for top quality adventure bags and soft luggage systems – you don’t have to look any further.

Size matters. Especially when you want to travel light and have the right tools with you, in case of a puncture. At Eastbound we got our Tyre-pro set. Ultra compact and light, modular and beautifully made aluminium set of axle nut spanners, tyre spoons and levers. If you are not having a puncture, you can still use the spoons to eat ice cream (personally tested). Check out all things offered by Eastbound – it can come very handy during your next adventure.

If you are looking for the top shelf brands to add to your motorbike and camping gear, there is no better place than Moto Adventure Store. Friendly and flexible service and “can do” attitude make it all possible, especially if your sizing is non-standard 😉

Since day one Ullmax Poland has been taking care of our thermal comfort on colder days during all kinds of sports we are into. Riding a motorbike, skiing, snowboarding, sailing, trekking, skydiving… It is always good to have some merino wool underwear / base layers to warm your butts (but not only ;)) High quality and reasonable price make Ullmax the perfect choice.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
We would like to wish you warmth, health, joy, love and good people around.

PS. Yes, we know we've been quiet recently. We took a break from the trip, serviced the KTM as it reached 30000 km, changed the tyres (they did great again, ~16000 km), left the bikes in a warm country and flew to cold Poland to rest and spend Christmas with Agata's family.

We still owe you a VLOG about The Gambia and posts/summary videos from Morocco+Mauritania and Senegal+The Gambia, and we promise they will come. We just need to "catch a breath" and sort out a few things first.

We left Zebrabar and drove to Dakar, to get our Ca We left Zebrabar and drove to Dakar, to get our Carnet stamped. A 200km route took 6 hours, due to heavy traffic in Dakar area. Old stinky trucks, extremely hight speed bumps and African driving style combined with 40 degrees heat made it rather an unpleasant ride. However, the whole procedure at the Customs office went smoothly. We also managed to get the insurance at one of AXA offices and exited Dakar by highway (still busy and for a small fee, but we did not feel like another 50 km in traffic jam). We headed to the Pink Lake (roadworks made the route "fun" again, as we needed to cross some villages and their narrow streets with deep sand) to see that due to the high water level the lake is not pink at all. We stayed at one of the few campings that were open and chilled for a couple od days.
Then we moved south, to Joal-Fadiouth, where again we had some good rest time, staying at the school run by nuns, eating out in very local "restaurants" and taking a pirogue boat tour around the Shell Island.
